Mocktree Barns are a small group of comfortable, well equipped self-catering cottages set in beautiful countryside on the South Shropshire/Herefordshire border about 7 miles west of Ludlow toward Wales.
We have four cottages ideal for two people or a small family, while our largest cottage provides accommodation for up to six.
The cottages open on to a sunny courtyard and gardens where you can relax and enjoy our splendid views, listen to the sheep in the neighbouring fields or watch buzzards and red kites soaring high above. There is so much to see and do in this lovely area that many of our guests return again and again.
We provide lots of holiday information and maps - and there are walks from the door in all directions. We welcome young visitors af all ages and provide toys, games, videos and some equipment to help them feel at home.
Two of our cottages are particularly suitable for less mobile guests and we have been awarded the National Accessible Scheme Level 1. We have a range of useful aids, so please discuss your specific requirements with us.
